Tuesday, Studio
Homework
- Prepare a question for Talia Cotton
- Finish your first poster in your series and have it linked on your class homepage prior to the start of class
- Continue working on your final project.
- If you didn’t already, find two job descriptions for jobs you might consider. Find one that you think is well written, and one that is poorly written.
Wednesday, Lab
- Workshop time and individual meetings.
- If you are using an API for your final project you should now be able to successfully pull information
from the API and manipulate your website with it in JavaScript. If you are unable to do this let’s figure it
out together.
- If you are not using an API, let’s discuss how you will be using JavaScript to create a dynamic website that
generates content or otherwise responds to external factors.
Homework
- Continue programming Live Data projects. Identify problem areas that you may need help solving and reach out for help.
- Consider setting up additional time to meet with our Tutor Specialists.
Friday, Studio
- Guest speaker Talia Cotton
- Look at poster 1 of poster series as class
- Take a look at the job descriptions you saved. Share them with a classmate. What kind of skills do you think each job requires? Consider what kind of projects you might share for these positions. Let’s talk about it.
